SWIFT / BIC Lookup: Bank Codes & Routing Reference
Look up sourced SWIFT / BIC routing records and decode ISO 9362 code structure. This is not the complete SWIFTRef directory; it does not verify account ownership, connect to banks or send transfers. Use the receiving bank’s payment instructions.
Indexed routing records
Each listed code is a routing/corridor record plus an ISO 9362 decode. This is not a complete BIC directory, and we do not include branch street addresses or send money.

What is a SWIFT/BIC code?
A SWIFT code (BIC) is the ISO 9362 business identifier for a financial institution. Eight characters point at the institution/location; eleven characters add a branch. XXX is the head-office / primary office convention.
These pages are routing/corridor records and an ISO 9362 decoder, not a full SWIFTRef directory. Thin decoder-only lookups are not indexed.
This site does not send money, connect to banks, or initiate a payment. Confirm details with the receiving bank.

Frequently asked questions
- What can SWIFT / BIC lookup tell me?
- It shows sourced institution or routing records held by the portal and decodes institution, country, location and branch structure. Valid syntax does not establish current availability or verify a beneficiary or account owner.
- Is this the complete SWIFTRef directory? Does no result mean the bank does not exist?
- No. Coverage is limited; a missing record means it is not held here, not that a bank or code is invalid. Obtain official payment instructions from the receiving bank and confirm its BIC and any intermediary arrangements.
- Does the tool send transfers or verify accounts?
- No. It provides code lookup and format reference, does not connect to banks or initiate payments, and does not verify balances, account ownership or settlement times. Use institution and brand directories separately for licensing and provider research.
